Filming on Julia Roberts’ new movie Eat, Pray, Love has reportedly been disrupted by donkeys.
Julia, 41, is shooting the new film in India, and it is claimed that donkeys as well as a dog disrupted filming while in Mirzapur village in Haryana.
It is claimed after director Ryan Murphy said “rolling camera”, two donkeys started braying and staff tried to push the donkeys away while people were laughing at the incidents, which caused the scene to be re-shot.
Animals continued to disrupt the scene as after everything returned to normal, a dog started to whine.
Villagers reportedly climbed trees and rooftops to see what Julia was doing despite not knowing who she was or what the film was about.
Julia reportedly visited Swami Dharam Dev in the Ashram Harimandir hermitage in Pataudi and she also expressed an interest in trying Indian sweets.
Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has praised the actress’s interest in the culture and spirituality of India and urged her to explore Hinduism further when she returned to the US.
Rajan added that he or other Hindu scholars would be available to assist her.
